Production of a jewel may take from several hours to several months. As Marek Rufert says, it depends on the laboriousness, availability of raw materials, artistic preparation of the design, and many other factors.

You are a recognised jeweller, how did you get into this craft?

In my family I was an apple that fell rather far from the tree. My father is a doctor, my mother a university teacher. Thinking about that, I can say that i had actually been preparing for the artistic craft of jewellery since early childhood. as a child, I kept dismantling and putting things together. I used to buildvarious models and spent a lot of time drawing. In talent exams for the secondary industrial school of art in Turnov, called the jewel school, they chose 17 students out of 250 applicants.
